Our learning this week included a visit to Machu Picchu as part of our exploration of the Incan Empire in Geography. The pupils looked at how the empire managed to maintain control over a vast, challenging area.
In Science this week, we continued our learning of electricity. We learnt about the use of switches in everyday appliances and how a 'kill switch' works as a safety mechanism, before creating our own circuits containing a switch component.
