In the first week back from half-term, we began our swimming lessons! Pupils are enjoying learning different swimming strokes and learning important safety skills in the water.
We completed some excellent writing, as seen below, based on the story of 'The Lighthouse Keeper', where a group of villagers help the local lighthouse keeper and save a ship from disaster.
In Maths, we have been working in groups on a 'bakery' project - creating shopping lists and looking at supermarkets with the best value for our ingredients, as well considering quantities of ingredients depending on the amount of cupcakes we plan to make!
