Maths: This week we focused on addressing gaps in our learning and looked at interpreting charts and showing position using coordinates.
English: This week we continued Maya Angelou's I Rise poem and finished our sentence stacking lessons. We focused on adverbials, precise verbs, synonyms, metaphors, repetition and rhyme.
RE: We continued our worldview of Christianity and were given inspirational quotes about forgiveness. We discussed and decided which quotes are important to Christians to show forgiveness.
PSHE: We continued our topic of Healthy Me and focused on alcohol. We spoke about the effects alcohol has on our bodies.
Spanish: Aprendo Espanol (Lesson 4). In this lesson we focused on counting from 1-10.
Art: We continued our topic of Ancient Roman monuments by researching facts about the Pantheon.
PE: Football with Mr Watson.
Handwriting: Verbs ending with 'e'.
Spellings: Spelling Rule 9 of -er and -est suffix.
Guided Reading: Retrieval and vocabulary questions of Awesome Women: Marry Anning to commemorate International Women's Day.
Reading Gap Analysis: How the format and presentation of a text impacts its reader.
