We have had a busy week completing assessments in Reading, GPS and maths.  Year 3 have tried really hard in all of their assessments and should be really proud of themselves.

English - We have been doing our independent writing based on 'The Magic Paintbrush' but from the perspective of the Emperor.  We discussed our 'success criteria' and think we should include in our writing, for example, punctuation, inverted commas to show dialogue, fronted adverbials and adjectives. 

PE - Continuing to practice our dance routine and learn the skills of handball.

Geography - Looking at the physical features in Eastern Europe. We looked at the names of mountains, rivers and important features within the landscape.

History - Learning about Pompeii and Mount Vesuvius.
