Week 1

To began our new topic of 'non-chronological reports' we looked at the features of a good example. We then used this to find the shape and draw pictures to match each feature identified.  To help us write our report we researched some information about the human body and pangolins. We especially loved finding out facts about pangolins and can not wait to use this information in our writing.

In maths we have been beginning to grasp formal methods of addition and subtraction. We have been practising adding two 2 digit numbers using the column method and have been using base 10 and place value charts to support our learning.

We enjoyed tasting different apples in DT and were able to use adjectives to describe the flavour. In science we classified groups of animals using key vocab such as 'endoskeleton and exoskeleton'.  In Spanish we have been practising the alphabet used phonetics.
