Week Beginning 13.5.24  Now the leaves on the trees are present, we decided to use an app to identify the trees we have in Forest school.
We have an oak, hazel, alder, willow and the tree we planted -  a field maple (which is growing really well).

This week was very sunny, we decided to use our new sun print art kit and make some forest school art. We used the sun print paper kit and the surrounding nature to make sun print pictures. We found some very interesting objects at our Forest school to use, and our pictures worked really well.

We had great fun doing this and were really proud of our designs.

We were very lucky this week to see some fantastic nature, a hornet building a nest, a white and orange butterfly (Orange-tip), a ladybird, deer and two blue tits flying around Forest school (possibly making a nest).

We also used some bubbles and made our own bubble wands with a stick and a pipe cleaner.

As it was so hot we decided to use the water pistols to cool down too!
