Week beginning 15.4.24 This week at Forest School we noticed our Forest School area looked a lot different from when we left. The trees have new leaves on them and everything is coming back into life for summer.
This week was very windy and rainy but a very busy one with lots of different Forest School challenges.
We enjoyed learning about butterflies this week and making some Forest School butterfly crafts. We also worked as a team and used tools correctly to build a very big deep hole, which we enjoyed going in!
We made some muddy ice creams in the mud kitchen.
We also enjoyed using the Slack line and the piano.
We filled up the bird feeders for the birds with seed and fatballs.
We had great fun learning new skills and climbing trees, some of us hadn't climbed trees before and particular enjoyed doing this with the support of others.
There are lots of ladybirds around at the moment and we enjoyed finding them.
