This week the Forest School children were excited about tree climbing. Before taking part in the activity, we talked about the safety rules and explored Forest School to see which trees would be best for climbing. After that, we began to use what we had learnt to climb some of the trees and experiment to see which ones were best.
We also set up a shop in Forest School, selling lots of different items, including porridge made in our very own mud kitchen! We had a phone so we could take orders too!
We continued to learn about birds and the wildlife at Forest School, leaving out seeds for the birds and vegetables for the deer. We were very lucky when a deer came into Forest School. Some of us even decided to make our own bird feeders.
