Week ending 11/10/2024

This week in 5E we have been exploring rounding in Maths, continuing our sentence-stacking lessons in English, and learning how to read scale on Ordnance Survey maps in Geography.

This child's work in the photo has clearly demonstrated our rhyme that we learnt as a class to support us with our rounding- "if it is 4 or below, drop it to the floor (round down), if it is 5 or above, take it high to the sky (round up)".
