Pupils at Howard Junior School, Gaywood learnt about the food production cycle on a Farm to Fork visit to the Tesco supermarket in Gaywood.
The school took 32 children from class 3N to the event where they learnt about everything from the origins of food to food miles, storage, distribution and healthy eating.
The children are pictured above with Karina Russell, the Tesco Farm to Fork trail guide.
Headteacher Gregory Hill said: “It provides a learning opportunity to see how food is produced and how it’s then transferred into a supermarket and sold to the public.”
