Remembrance Service – ITV Anglia

We Will Remember Them

Remembrance Service - ITV Anglia

Howard Junior School’s 100 Year Remembrance Service was featured on ITV Anglia. Pupils dressed as soldiers and nurses paid tribute to those who lost their lives. Every pupil laid down a cross, whilst a recording played of the pupils reading out all 600 names on the King’s Lynn and West Norfolk war memorial.

The Mayor, along with representatives from the Royal British Legion and Norfolk Police attended and laid a wreath of poppies.

Watch the coverage below:

Staff and pupils also came together to create a giant poppy, in honour of those who served and sacrificed in order to give us freedom.
