Howard Junior School turned wild for a day on Friday to raise money for World Wildlife Federation’s endangered species programme.

Children and staff came to school dressed as their favourite wild animals and took part in themed lessons throughout the day, as well as additional fundraising activities at playtime and lunchtime. Youngsters produced some excellent work about the endangered animals that WWF support, including reasons why they are endangered and how they can be helped. Altogether, the school raised more than £190.
