Howard Junior School helps Lynn food bank

For their harvest festival this year, pupils from Lynn’s Howard Junior School kindly brought in donations of non-perishable food to donate to the Lynn Food Bank. Kat Taylor, from Lynn Food Bank, did a presentation at the school to the children and parents about what happens to their donations and how it directly benefits the West Norfolk community. Thanks to the generosity of children, parents and staff, Howard Junior School were able to donate 298.9kg of food, the equivalent of 711 meals. Howard Junior teacher Anna Clutterham said: “We were thrilled to be able to make such a sizeable contribution and directly help people in need in King’s Lynn.” Pictured above, from left, are: Kat Taylor, from Lynn Food Bank, Milana Bulauskaite, Karolina Kordovic, Erik Kosin, Zack Williams, Rhys Lusher and Anna Clutterham, class teacher at Howard Junior School.
