Superhero effort for Pudsey in West Norfolk

Superheroes firing silly string while under a heavy bean bag attack was just one of the ways West Norfolk has supported Children in Need.

The national total reached £32.6 million helped by the youngsters and adults at schools in the area.

A superhero effort was undertaken by David Martin and Richard Watson, who are teachers at Lynn’s Howard Junior School.

Both men were dressed up as Spiderman, one with silly string firing from his sleeves, climbed gym equipment and ran around the corridors while youngsters threw bean bags at them.

The school has raised more than £300 with youngsters paying to go to school in their pyjamas, a cake bake by Year 6 pupils and covering Pudsey in loose change.
